Julie's Tea House
Enjoy a cup of tea with Julie Friedrich, Galway's most popular community artist. There will be an exhibition of photographs by Julie, poetry recitals, an interactive sound-sculpture and music by local musicians. From midday until late evening you will be entertained in the comfort of Jimmy's gaff.

Two documentaries, Mike Casey's Clown Around Lesotho and Dieter Auner's Leaving Transylvania, will be shown in Busker Browne's on Monday at 8pm. Free
Clown Around Lesotho follows three clowns from Clowns Without Borders Ireland, including Galway's Jonathan Gunning, as they travel across the HIV-ravaged Kingdom of Lesotho, performing to thousands of children.
Leaving Transylvania documents the exodus of the Transylvanian Saxons from Romania in the early 90s, an emigration that wiped out villages and endangered the 8oo years old cultural heritage. The film shows the disorientation of elderly Saxon couples from the village Arbegen, charging this documentary with intense emotion and bringing a little-known story to life.

The Tectonics are a little bomb waiting to go off. A punchy powerpop trio, with a rock'n'roll edge and more hooks than Hugh Duffy's fishing tackle shop!
Marcus Molloy on bass and Seamus Sullivan on drums (once the rhythm section of The Big Geraniums) provide pumping rhythms pushing incessantly to the dancefloor. The spice in the sauce comes from the spikey guitar of Eoin O'Brien (former member of Kila, Cookers and Claydolls), while all three contribute their vocal harmonies peppering their three-minute fillets of pop. 8pm, Busker Browne's: Two documentaries, Mike Casey's Clown Around Lesotho and Dieter Auner's Leaving Transylvania, will be shown in Busker Browne's. Free
Clown Around Lesotho follows three clowns from Clowns Without Borders Ireland, including Galway's Jonathan Gunning, as they travel across the HIV-ravaged Kingdom of Lesotho, performing to thousands of children.
Leaving Transylvania documents the exodus of the Transylvanian Saxons from Romania in the early 90s, an emigration that wiped out villages and endangered the 8oo years old cultural heritage. The film shows the disorientation of elderly Saxon couples from the village Arbegen, charging this documentary with intense emotion and bringing a little-known story to life.

Welcome
Colours Street Theatre Company presents COLOURSFRINGEFESTIVAL 2010, which will take place from June 26 to July 2 in Galway City. A week of performing and visual arts, music and more, culminating in the annual Black-&-White Ball, this is the first festival organised by Colours, a vibrant company that has been bringing magic to the streets of Galway for the past ten years.
